Wednesday at the Beach
Once I got this outfit together, I realized I styled Wednesday Addams for the beach… which isn’t a problem, it’s just a little funny. For a closeup of this gorgeous essences skin, click over to my Flickr.

More Sea Creatures…
I’ve gone completely obsessed with mermaids. Lucky for you, you get to see the products of my obsession! The ones I have for you today are different than your typical mermaids, and that’s a big part of what I find so interesting about them.
Morgaine Price of Mer-Elf Creations created this beautiful Kingyo mermaid as a RFL donation item for the Fantasy Faire. To me, it is part goldfish, part mermaid. I love the detail, and the colors. I also like that you can get a sickly add-on pack which has a tail and scales for a Kingyo that isn’t doing so well. A gentle reminder that all creatures face sickness (at least that’s what I’m seeing, I don’t speak for anyone but myself). There are tons of beautiful things available in the Mer-Elf shop, more pics are on my Flickr in case I don’t get to posting them before the Fantasy Faire ends on Sunday.
Cane Sutter of Skinthesis has these incredible mermaids available at the Fantasy Faire as well. The skin and ears come as a set and are sold separately from the tail and from the eyes, so you can mix and match as you like. Personally, I love how it comes together. The skin is stunningly unique and has an otherworldly feel to it.
In other news, the Fantasy Faire is open through Sunday, April 10th. So, GO and spend your lindens to support Relay for Life!

I’ve always wanted to be a mermaid…
I’ve always wanted to be a mermaid, swimming around under the water weightless and free… then I had a back surgery where I couldn’t move my legs and I had a much deeper appreciation for bipedalism.
Lucky for me, I can still be a mermaid in Second Life. Mermaid Treasure & Boutique makes beautiful mermaid costumes to aid our imagination, and for this week you can find them at the Sea of Mer sim at the Fantasy Faire. The Faire runs until April 10th and special vendors donate directly to Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
