Every good fairy knows to go back and check that their work is flourishing.
Naturally, if you’ve already done a good job, you can easily turn a quality control visit into a chance to stop and smell the flowers.
Well, the petite train has hit, and I honestly didn’t think I’d get on, but when Aikea Rieko from Plastik was going to put her skins to them, well… I couldn’t hold out. Besides, I had heard how wonderful mesh hands were, and .. two birds and all that.
Mesh hands are wonderful. I mean, I love mesh anyway (lazy blogger is lazy and not adjusting is a dream) and this is just great. Very minimal weird angles in poses – not only is there minimal clothing adjustment, it’s fun to actually be pixie size. (You should try it, I promise it’s not addictive.)
Plastik can be found on the Ruins of Nu Orne, while Evie’s Closet is on the Tides sim. The Fantasy Faire closes tonight – so I’ll stop spamming about it, but that also means that time is running down to go check it out.

Fantasy Faire is my favorite time of year. Not only does it support a cause near and dear to my heart (Relay for Life), but lots of the best creators on the grid are all in one place. I’m in heaven!
Here of some of my other finds from Fantasy Faire 2011… you still have the rest of tonight and all day tomorrow to go check it out. So… GO! Links to Fantasy Faire sims are in the styling credits. I’ll add main store links after the Faire has ended.
As usual, more pics on my Flickr.
It is the last day of the Fashion for Life event, so if there are any last minute items you want to pick up, now is the time to do it.
I picked up a bunch of stuff this year, and have littered my Flickr with pictures of my finds.
Some are exclusives like the Purple Moon Marilyn gown in burgundy, the Zaara dress below, and the Poetic Colors eyes (they are so beautiful) – and others are like this dress fromBOOM which is a standard, but with proceeds going toward a great cause – and one very close to my heart.
Luckily, while Fashion for Life is ending today, the Relay for Life season does not end for a while – so there is still plenty of time to contribute.

Hello. My name is Daybreak, and I’m an addict.
My addiction isn’t just to shopping, but to several specific types of items – especially beautiful gowns. I can’t help it! I love the way a well-made gown looks, the way it moves when you’re walking or dancing; something about putting on the right gown makes you feel beautiful/powerful/elegant – the adjective depends on the dress, really.
One of my favorite ways to feed my addiction is with creations by Kouse Singh of Kouse’s Sanctum. At the moment, she is participating in the Fantasy Faire and can be found on the Via Obscurium sim, as well as in the auction on the central sim. Seven of her gowns are in Relay for Life vendors (in her special RFL colors) – 5 of which I have to show you!
There are two things that make gowns from Kouse’s Sanctum stand out in my mind: details and versatility. Versatility is the key to every staple in a girl’s wardrobe, after all. Each gown that Ms. Singh creates is perfectly detailed from the hems to the prims, while maintaining a classic style that is as appropriate for a black-tie affair as it is for roleplaying.
So, remember when we talked about you heading over to the Fantasy Faire?
You wrote it down while I waited?
Awesome, we’re on the same page! So, while I’m sure that you’ve combed the Faire for everything it has to offer and already made fantastic donations to Relay for Life, I thought I would show you two things that can be found on the Via Obscurium sim from Atea Avatars.
On the left is the Mysti Summer Faery, on the right is the Marama Female Drow (Summer Edition).
Before I had the opportunity to try on these avatars, I didn’t have much experience with having a full avatar in one package. I had seen the option, but hadn’t seen many that were not specifically for fantasy characters and that wasn’t what I was looking for at the time. However, now having had the opportunity to try on the creations of Atea Aeon, I have a much better appreciation for having everything together in one cohesive package.
