What do you do?
You’re alone now, after getting back from a long night/day of dancing (or some other social activity) with your prince (or princess, or friends, or goldfish) and you feel hopeful, excited, like something great adventure just started. If the story had an author, this is the part after they’ve come back for you, and said goodbye one more time. Otherwise, you’ve just come home (generally speaking, the whole coming-back-to-see-you-one-last-time doesn’t really happen too often) and you’re alone. You’re nervous and giddy and your new adventure all you want to talk or think about, but you also don’t want to talk about it to anyone because if you speak of it, or even think on it too much… it might disappear. You feel alive.
So, what do you do?
You twirl.

Project FUR…
All the cute, fuzzy animals need our help and lots of people have been showing you how you can contribute. I have peppered a few items from Project FUR through my past few posts, but I want to show you some of my favorite things available at the main event. Like with RFL, I will add mainstore links after the event is finished, but for now, go check out Project FUR!
This dress is beautifully made. A lot of times it is hard to find a glitch layer and prim that actually blend together well. Not just because of a grey-ing issue, but they just don’t always seem to “fit”. That is never the case with anything I have worn from Appolonia Criss of Chantkare.
This sweater looks so comfortable and I LOVE this skin. I only hope that LAQ releases a full line after Project FUR is complete.
More pics – and more awesome items on my Flickr.

Findings from Fantasy Faire 2011
Fantasy Faire is my favorite time of year. Not only does it support a cause near and dear to my heart (Relay for Life), but lots of the best creators on the grid are all in one place. I’m in heaven!
Here of some of my other finds from Fantasy Faire 2011… you still have the rest of tonight and all day tomorrow to go check it out. So… GO! Links to Fantasy Faire sims are in the styling credits. I’ll add main store links after the Faire has ended.
As usual, more pics on my Flickr.

Finally, I’m over being sick (mostly), have been able to get pictures with all of the clothing in focus (thank you SL), and actually liked the way they turned out. I can’t say that there hasn’t been much that has caught my fancy – I’ve done more than my fair share of shopping – but I’ve had the hardest time getting myself to put a whole look together and take pictures. I’ve started to feel guilty for not keeping up with Luna’s blogger challenge, and I wanted to get a bunch done at one time, which I did! (It’s the little things people.) However, instead of spamming you with huge pictures, I just want to show you some of the really really awesome things I found in the process of putting these looks together. And put the picspam nice and small at the bottom – because I can. 🙂
Three things I’ve found in catching up on the blogger challenge? Jewelry, Skins and Boots. Really, what more can a girl ask for? (Don’t answer that.)
I’ve never been much of a consumer of SL jewelry before. Absolutely, there have been some pieces that I just have to have and are amazing, but in general, it’s not one of my go-to shopping categories. Not a little part of that reason is that it’s not one of my real life addictions, so it’s not something I look for to “complete” an outfit. Shoes, on the other hand… are totally different, but that’s another story. Anyway, I put on the silver dress from Zaara, and it just needed something else. So, I searched… and searched… and came across so many things that somehow made their way into my inventory (budget, what budget?), and found the Logo bracelet and earrings, and the Mandala bracelet. Now, I just need to talk these designers into making me one to wear every day (pretty please?). A crazy close-up of these items is on my Flickr, just waiting to be viewed. The non-closeup just doesn’t do them justice.
The skin I first saw in a blogger preview pack from Aikea Rieko of the Plastik. I love her Lionheart skins, and I love her new Ataciara skins as well. Now, I’ve said before that she reads my mind, but this is starting to get scary. On the other hand, it’s also awesome (like 10,000,000 hot dogs awesome*), so I’ll stick with that. Anyway, she dropped her blogger pack on me and I promptly went out and bought a fatpack of my favorite tone, as well as all the elven tones. Why? Because they’re beautifully done and the makeups are amazing. The lips are a little bigger than her Lionheart skins, but they look great. I love that the Freckles come on a separate (tattoo) layer – and are tintable. Very cool (and fewer inventory items – yay!) I’ve used the skins in several of my pics, but you can see a freckled and non-freckled version in sienna, indigo and green.
As for the boots – well, I have a problem with shoes of all sorts, but boots are a special weakness. These leather boots by Mentine (in the silver and green pictures) are exactly what I’ve been looking for – for a long time. My favorite part? Other than everything – is that the fur can be turned off and on. Woo customization!
Of course, I won’t blog something if I don’t really like it, but these three things are new to me, so I wanted to mention them specifically.
